DEAR TRAVELLER,

MANY OF US HAVE A DESIRE TO EXPLORE the world, visit extraordinary places and gain personal experiences there. We usually visit the natural treasures and architectural sights first of all, then we come to the museums collecting wonders of the past, where we can get a glimpse into the ancient past through the works of art and archaeological findings.

When planning our travels, perhaps we are less likely to think about the gastronomy and special dishes of our destination. And even when we are there, it is hard to find restaurants and taverns that offer authentic local dishes. Yet there are at least as many wonders to explore in the gastronomy culture of countries and regions as in their natural treasures or history. The gastronomy of the world is just as colourful as the wildlife, flora and fauna of the Earth. So during your travels it is worthwhile trying and tasting the local specialties.

Travelling is an everlasting experience, the beautiful moments remain in our hearts: the colours of the sunset, the music, the encounters, the smiles, and the experience of exploration. We encourage everyone to be brave and try out the flavours of the world, as this enriches you with a new experience, makes the travelling even nicer, and you will always look back on it fondly.
